Advanced DirectShow training and consulting available on request on advanced subjects such as  SBE (Stream Buffer Engine), TV and BDA/DTV, Streaming, stream synchronization, multigraph management, VMR-9 programming.

Objectives :

After completing the course, participants should  be able to :

Good knowledge of the MS Windows environment and notions of Object Oriented Programming.

About the instructor

Michel Roujansky is a graduate Engineer of Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécoms (Paris), with  more than 5 years of hands-on practical development experience on DirectShow, in particular video filters.

After starting his career in France Télécom as a submarine cable engineer, he joined IBM Europe in 1985, where he was in charge of European voice and data networks, and later became expert sales support systems engineer in IBM France. He joined SITA (Socité Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques) in 1988 where he was the main architect and project manager for the MTN worldwide X25 network. In 1991, he moved to Alcatel NV, where he took responsibility for public network management platforms architecture, development and marketing. In 1997, he became Chief Information Officer (Director of Information Systems) of the SITA-Equant joint-venture. Michel Roujansky is currently an independent consultant and trainer, specialised in Information Systems and Networks Architecture, Broadcast TV and DirectShow programming.
